Andy Wilson Landscape Design is a one-man design only company based in Salem, Oregon. Andy works all over the Willamette Valley on residential and commercial landscape projects. Working with homeowners who want to build it themselves as well as those looking to have someone else install, Andy gives organization to projects that can sometimes feel overwhelming and intimidating. Andy meets
with you on site at no cost to discuss your needs, learn more about your project, and
give you a price for doing the design work.
If the project's a go, detailed measurements are taken of the house and yard.
Andy then creates a basemap of the site using AutoCAD
For some projects, a rough concept plan (or multiple plans) is done by hand and a concept meeting takes place to go over Andy's ideas. The concept phase allows collaborative decisions to be made on the main features of the plan and ensures you and Andy are on the same page moving forward.
Your detailed landscape design is created in CAD and you and Andy meet to review it. The final plan comes with a list of all the plants specified on the plan and plant cards that have a picture and information about all the plants.
One revision is included with every final plan to make sure you can make those final adjustments to get the plan just right.
When your landscape plan is completed, if you're not going to be installing yourself, Andy will get bids from local contractors for you. And if you are going to be tackling the work yourself, Andy can help plan your route and direct you to the best material.
